Color, fills & effects
Pick colors, save them as reusable styles, and add depth — opacity, corner radius, shadow (offset + softness), blur, gradient (with type and angle) and blend mode.
Fill & the color picker
The Fill section (or Color, on text) sets a solid color. Click the swatch to open the picker.
The picker has a saturation/value square, hue and alpha sliders, hex and R/G/B fields, and an eyedropper to sample any pixel on screen. It also lists your saved Styles (recents plus Brand / Neutrals / Semantic) with a + to quick-save the current color. Changes preview live and land as a single undo step when you close the picker.
Gradients
Turn a solid fill into a gradient, then choose its type and angle.
In the Effects section, Add gradient converts the fill to a gradient. A type dropdown switches between Linear, Radial, Angular and Diamond (switching keeps your stops), the ∠ field sets the angle, and ✕ removes it. Pattern and image fills live under Vector → Fill in the editor menu (the rabbit at the top of the left panel).
Color styles
Save colors once, reuse them everywhere, and keep a brand consistent.
Styles are grouped as Your styles (editable), plus Brand · Neutrals · Semantic seeded from your brand tokens, and Recents. Open the manager from the picker’s ▦ Manage or the panel’s color-styles button to:
- Switch brand (repaints the canvas background and text defaults).
- Add a new style from a hex value.
- ⤓ Extract from canvas — harvest every fill and stroke color already on the board into “Your styles.”
- Rename or delete any of your styles inline.
Effects & appearance
Depth and blending. Some controls are one-click by design.
Opacity & corner radius
In Appearance: O sets opacity 0–100% (or press 1–9 for 10–90%, 0 for 100%). C sets corner radius in px on rectangles, frames and images.
Shadow
The Shadow toggle in Effects adds a drop shadow; while it’s on, X, Y and Blur fields set its offset and softness. (Shadow color is set through the Canvas API for now.)
Layer blur
The Blur field applies a layer blur in pixels.
Blend mode
A blend-mode dropdown in Appearance lists every mode — Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Darken, Lighten … Luminosity — so you can pick one directly.
Canvas background
The color behind everything.
With nothing selected, the inspector sets the page Background. The editor menu’s Canvas Background also offers presets — Snow, Paper, Bone, Sunrise, Kraft, Blueprint, Forest, Ink, Pitch — or a custom hex.
